Tribune Cyclers - The San Francisco Call, 23 Apr 1895
The Tribune Cyclers of Gilroy are raising funds for the erection of a grand stand at the racetrack, so that those witnessing their races the coming summer will not have to stand. The Tribunes have awakened a general interest in cycling matters in Gilroy, and they propose to inaugurate a series of road races. Committees have been appointed by the Tribune Cyclers and the Gilroy Sportsmen's Protective Association looking to the union of the two clubs.
