The Cycle Board of Trade was a local organization of bicycle businesses that performed several functions; advocacy, organization, price protection, management of events and cycling infrastructure, etc. There was also a national Cycle Board of Trade. The local one was originally known as the "San Francisco Cycle Board of Trade."
