View source for 100-mile relay race from San Francisco to Oakland

This was a huge competition every year, around the bay, 100 miles, from [[San Francisco]] to [[Oakland]] through [[San Jose]]. Each team had ten men who raced ten mile legs, taking a [[relay]] from the previous rider of their team and handing off to the next. It was club against club but also man against man.
